Kiln Dried Firewood Fuel
The ultimate firewood fuel product is that of kiln dried logs. These logs have moisture contents of below 20% and therefore have a high heat output. Using kiln dried logs should protect your stoves warranty as they will recommend only using kiln dried logs. They are ideal for immediate use on cookers, multi-fuel stoves and wood burners. Quite simply these are the best logs money can buy. Note: we usually have a plentiful supply of kiln dried logs due to their popularity!

Seasoned Firewood Fuel Logs
Next in the line of quality, we have seasoned logs. These typically have moisture contents between 20 and 30% and are ideally best used after a couple of weeks in dry conditions. They provide a medium heat output and are useful for multi-fuel stoves, wood burners, open fires, braziers and chimineas.

Unseasoned Firewood FuelThirdly, we have unseasoned logs. These are the type of firewood fuel you’ll find at a local petrol station and normally aren’t kept in dry conditions. Unseasoned logs are effectively wet logs with moisture contents around 50%. Therefore these logs are only useful for DIY seasoning and will be good to use after six to twelve months. Note that these logs have a much lower heat output and thus we tend not to offer these as the value isn’t great.
